It is with heavy heart for us to share the loss of one of our very own softball family members. Rolando Muniz, father of Abigail Muniz, has passed away unexpectedly on March 26th. He leaves behind his wife Raelene, 5 kids, and 2 grandchildren. Rolando has been a part of our softball family for a few years and has been a key volunteer for our recreational and select teams. His charismatic personality and passion for family will be greatly missed.

We are expecting about 12,000 Youth Softball/Baseball families on Sunday, April 28th.

Know before you come to Angel stadium

1. Please arrive early to avoid traffic delays

2. If you enter a certain parking lot you will have to park in that respective lot

3. No crossing over from one parking lot to another.

4. There is no saving parking spaces

5. Please be careful with kids playing in the parking lot.

Parking Lot Opens: at 10:00am

Parade Line-Up: starting at 10:15am near Gate 6. Only those eligible to be in the parade should line up.

Parade Starts: at 11:15am outside of Gate 6 and will exit Left Field Tunnels. Please line up on time.

Parade Ends: as last team enters the Right Field Tunnel. Late arrivals will not be permitted.

2024 All Star Coach Application

Anyone interested in applying to be a coach for one of the 2024 All Star Teams will need to complete the Registration (link below) and participate in a prospective coaches interview on 4/26/24. You are not required to have coached a Spring 2024 Team in order to be eligible.

FVGFS 2024 Fire Truck Golf Ball Drop
Saturday, May 4th - During Closing Ceremonies

All players who did not opt out of the fundraiser during registration are responsible for selling at least 8 Golf Balls for the fundraiser. The more you sell, the better! The top seller will win an iPad that will be awarded at Closing Ceremonies.

An email has been sent from AccelRaising to the email on file for the player. Make sure to check your Junk and Spam folders for the email.
Please keep in mind, that if you do not sell you the minimum 8 Golf Balls by the deadline, your player will not be eligible to participate in any softball activities and may not receive their end of year trophy.

2024 Spring Snack Bar Sign-Ups

Each registered player paid a Snack Bar fee at time of registration. This fee is refundable if you choose to work a minimum 4 hours in the Snack Bar. You do not need to sign up if you do not wish to receive your refund. You may only sign up for one shift per player.

Please use the link below to sign up for a time to work hours in the snack bar.

Once the hours have been completed the $60 fee will be refunded/credited to the parent through Sports Engine. It is very important parents sign in and out for their hours to be counted. There is a sign up sheet at the snack bar. The player agent will record the number of hours worked from the sign up sheet.

IMPORTANT - Please be make sure you keep track of the date and time you have signed up to work in the Snack Bar. If you are unable to work the hours you signed up for, please make arrangements for another person work the hours for you or update your hours in the SignUp Genius (Change My Sign Up). We have set these hours aside for parents to work in order to receive a refund for the Snack Bar Fee that was paid during registration. We will not have coverage if you simply do not show up and this could impact Snack Bar availability.

Fountain Valley Sports Complex Field Status

Refer to this page to confirm status of all fields at the Fountain Valley Sports Complex. This site is generally updated by 3:00 pm daily.

***VOLUNTEERS: Fountain Valley Girls Fastpitch Softball is an entirely volunteer organization from the board members to the coaches and team parents. Please consider volunteering to support your child’s team. No experience is necessary. Every team will need as many coaches as possible along with team parents to assist with practices, games, field setup, team events, etc.. This is an amazing organization and everyone is here to ensure the players all have a positive and fun experience.
