USA Softball - Our governing body for all Southern California Recreational Softball, requires annual background checks for all adults who have contact with players during the season.
YES - If you filled one out last year, you still need to do it again this year.
If you would like to be on the field in any capacity, you will have to fill out a new background check form. This includes Team Managers, Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Parents, and anyone who will be in contact with the players. This needs to be completed every year, so if you did it last year you will still need to do it again for this year.
Every team requires a minimum of four adults with background checks. For any questions, please reach out to the Player Agent below.

Fountain Valley Girls Fastpitch Softball (FVGFS) requires all adults who work with our players to go through a background check process. FVGFS is a volunteer-based organization and all parents should plan on helping in some capacity. Your teams need your help! Along with a background check USA Softball has partnered with U.S. Center for SafeSport requiring all volunteers to do a SafeSport Training. Thank you all for making this a great season for our players!
