    FV Home Run Derby '23


    Join us for the 1st Annual

    Fountain Valley Girls Fast pitch Home Run Derby

    Step up to the plate and swing for the fence!

    $25 buy in, bring your own pitcher.

    Top Home Run hitters will advance to the to 2nd and 3rd rounds.

    Final round of Home Runs will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place with cash prizes!

    Each round consists of 10 Swings.

    Home Run Derby will be held April 8, 2023 @ Field 5.

    Start time at 3:30 pm!!!

    Each registered player paid a Snack Bar fee at time of registration. This fee is refundable if you choose to work a minimum 4 hours in the Snack Bar. You do not need to sign up if you do not wish to receive your refund. You may only sign up for one shift per pl

    PLEASE NOTE: Weeknight games - shifts are only 3.5 hours. You will only get paid $44.00 for Monday and Wednesday shifts.

    50.00 divided by 3.5 hours - $43.75, rounded up. 


    September '22 - Charlotte Leyva and Emma Mendez!

    Charlotte Leyva was recognized for being the most improved player, demonstrating an awesome attitude, and always cheering on her team with a positive attitude. Charlotte always shows good sportsmanship skills and a willingness to assist her Coaching staff and team.

    Charlotte is on the 12U Misfits, nominated by Coach Francisco.

    Emma Mendez was recognized for her awesome attitude and inspiring character. Emma goes above and beyond to include all her teammates and supports them in all activities. She strives for self-improvement to better herself while demonstrating great leadership skills to others.

    Emma is on the 10U FV Bombers, nominated by Coach Bobby.

    October '22 - Isabella Ortiz and Lyla Chavez

    Isabella Ortiz is a selfless player who goes out every day and performs without any hesitation at practices and games. She is the energy of the team and is constantly smiling and brining motivation to the team at practice and games.

    Isabella is part of the 12u division, nominated by Coach Charlie.

    Lyla Chavez shows up ready to give it her all at every game and practice. Shows leadership on the field by encouraging her teammates when they are down and leads by example. She is always smiling and has a great attitude.

     November '22 - Esmeralda Valeriano and Madilynn Romero

    Esmeralda Valeriano showed continued improvement throughout the fall season. She faced a few obstacles this fall and still helped her team compete. She has an amazing attitude and work ethic. Always shows respect towards her teammates and coaching staff.

    Esmeralda is part of the 12u division, nominated by coach Charlie.

    Madilynn Romero is a quiet young lady but tough as nails behind the plate. She never complains and plays through all the aches and pains that come with being a catcher. She hits the ball with power and makes outfielders go chase after the ball.
