Spring 2025 Evaluations

Thank you to all the families for coming out and participating in our 2025 Spring Evaluations this weekend! It was great to see everyone excited to get Spring started.

A special THANK YOU to all our board members, volunteers and coaches who helped make today a fantastic start to our season. And an EXTRA THANK YOU to Josh Noland for all he did to ensure everything this weekend was perfect.

Makeup Evaluations and Uniform Sizing - Rec & Select

***Any players who are unable to attend evaluations and need to attend Makeup Evaluations for Rec and/or Select need to contact the FVGFS Player Agent (playeragent@fvsoftball.org) by Sunday, 1/12. No exceptions

Please keep in mind that your player will not be eligible to be considered as a Play-Up or for a Select Team if you do not attend evaluations.

***Sample uniforms will also be available to try on if you were unable to do so on Saturday or Sunday. You must contact the FVGFS Player Agent by Sunday, 1/12 so we can coordinate accordingly.

FVGFS needs your help to make this an awesome 2025 Spring Season. No prior coaching experience required.

***Head Coaches (1 per team) qualify for a reimbursement at the end of the season for half the cost of registration for the division being coached.

FVGFS Board

We are looking for new faces to join our FVGFS Board. Our league runs 100% off volunteers, so we need your help if we want to continue to be successful.

This year we are operating under a small board/rapid agenda with things changing so quickly, but we are hoping to gain some new members for our Fall 2024/Spring 2025 season.

We have many positions with varying levels of responsibility. Open positions are listed below.

***VOLUNTEERS: Fountain Valley Girls Fastpitch Softball is an entirely volunteer organization from the board members to the coaches and team parents. Please consider volunteering to support your child’s team. No experience is necessary. Every team will need as many coaches as possible along with team parents to assist with practices, games, field setup, team events, etc.. This is an amazing organization and everyone is here to ensure the players all have a positive and fun experience.

FVGFS SNACK BAR SIGNUPS

Snack Bar Sign Up

The FVGFS Snack Bar is an important source of revenue for our league. Our players, their families, and supporters can stop by for refreshing drinks, tasty snacks, and pick up some FVGFS Swag! We count on our families and volunteers to help make this possible.

Each registered player paid a $75 Snack Bar fee at time of Registration. This fee is refundable if you choose to work a minimum 4 hours in the Snack Bar. You do not need to sign up if you do not wish to receive your refund. You may only sign up for one shift per player.

*Please be advised if you sign up and are a no show or do not cancel 48 hours prior to shift there will be a $50 penalty added on.*

Volunteers:
Volunteers must be a parent or guardian of a currently registered player. If you wish to assign a substitute of at least 16 years of age to work your shift, please contact the SnackBar Scheduler. Please allow 48 hours for a response.

Once the hours have been completed the snack bar fee will be refunded/credited to the parent through Sports Engine. It is very important parents sign in and out for their hours to be counted. There is a sign up sheet at the snack bar. The player agent will record the number of hours worked from the sign up sheet.
